Jon Murray, an industry veteran and seasoned member of the Indigo Road Hospitality Group family, serves as chief restaurant officer, overseeing Indigo Road’s 20+ F&B concepts. Since joining the team at O-Ku in Charleston as a server in 2011, Murray has led various Indigo Road restaurant teams as general manager, including Colletta in Alpharetta, Ga., Indaco in Charleston, and O-Ku and Donetto in the West Midtown neighborhood of Atlanta.

A North Carolina native, Murray graduated from the University of South Carolina with a degree in Sports and Entertainment Management, and began his career in the music industry as a manager and director of artist relations for Golden Music (UMG) in Nashville, Tenn. Murray also spent four years as a manager at OMG/EMI Records in Greenville, S.C., where he organized and negotiated a 90-day national tour for a popular music group, before relocating to Charleston and jumping into the culinary industry. Murray’s congenial management style, vast knowledge of restaurant operations and passion for hospitality enable him to lead The Indigo Road team to continued success.

When he is not spending time with the teams in the cities where The Indigo Road does business, Murray enjoys running, reading and discovering new music.
