Since I began my tenure with The Indigo Road, I have always felt supported by my leaders, like the company has always had my back. Though never more so than when I applied for the Home Loan Assistance Program and received funds that I was able to use towards the down payment on my first home. Indigo Road helped make my dream and goal of home-ownership a reality, and I could not be more grateful.
At The Indigo Road, it doesn’t feel like work because you are surrounded by friends and (what has become) family. It’s refreshing to know that when I come to work, it’s like an escape from life’s stresses because making people happy is a gift for me, that’s why I love what I do.
I began my Indigo Road journey with very little restaurant experience and the first position I was hired as was a host. Through the years I have been working my way into management. I would never have been able to achieve this role without the continued support and guidance from The Indigo Road Team. I never expected when I started working for The Indigo Road, I would become a part of something so extraordinary. It’s because of our strong culture and impenetrable core values that I have been afforded every opportunity to achieve my dreams and goals. Every day that I walk into our front doors I know that I am most definitely valued and nurtured.
The thing I appreciate most about the Indigo Road is my voice is really heard. Our company is growing quickly and our young leaders are not only trusted, but urged to pave the road. My hard work is recognized, and I have been given every opportunity that I have pursued.
