In 2021 The Indigo Road committed to fund $300,000 to three organizations over three years.
1: Southern Foodways AlLIance
“The Southern Foodways Alliance documents, studies, and explores the diverse food cultures of the changing American South.”
Based at the University of Mississippi’s Center for the Study of Southern Culture, we share oral histories, produce films and podcasts, publish original writing, sponsor scholarship, mentor students, and stage events that serve as progressive and inclusive catalysts for the greater South.
2: Pay It Forward Charleston
Pay It Forward Charleston is dedicated to providing emergency assistance in the form of grants to members of the Charleston food and beverage community.
3: Coastal Conservation League
They work to protect the health of the natural resources of the South Carolina coastal plain and ensure a high quality of life for all of the people who live in and love this special place.
We believe in thinking local and each of our locations is encouraged to be a leader in their communities.
GIVING BACK TO
The Indigo Road Hospitality Group believes that what we get out of life is directly connected to what we give to others. A key element to achieving a spirit of generosity and kindness within their hotels and restaurants depends in large part on their involvement in many charitable organizations within the communities where they are located.
SUPPORTING THE COMMUNITY
Dedicated to supporting each community wherein they have business operations, The Indigo Road partners with various organizations to support their respective missions. Examples of a few of the causes that The Indigo Road has focused upon are fighting hunger, ending homelessness, and recovery from substance abuse.
Helping their local communities where they live and work means getting out and getting involved. Click here to see the organizations that The Indigo Road has supported.
