The Ambassador Hotel
Jacksonville, FL
A historic icon returns to the heart of Downtown Jacksonville. Originally opened in 1923 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Ambassador Hotel is being carefully restored as part of Gateway Jax’s Pearl Square redevelopment, with hospitality leadership from The Indigo Road.
Once known for its Georgian Revival architecture and rich social history, the building is being transformed into a 100+ room boutique hotel featuring a signature restaurant, cocktail bar, event space, and modern amenities.
In partnership with Gateway Jax, The Indigo Road Hospitality Group brings its expertise in independent hotels and restaurants to a landmark that has long been a part of Jacksonville’s cultural fabric. With a focus on thoughtful design, community engagement, and exceptional service, The Ambassador is poised to become a downtown destination once again, reflecting both the legacy of the building and the bright future of the neighborhood.
